There are other costs associated with a vacation in BVI which are not included in the charter.

• The following is required of all travelers to BVI:
• Cruising Tax - $2.00/person day 12/01 - 04/30 and $0.75/person day 05/01 - 11/30
• National Parks Permit - $25.00/week for up to 4 people. Additional person is $5/week. Additional days, over 7, regardless of number of people $3/day
• Virgin Island Search and Rescue donation - $1/person
• Airport departure tax - $15.00 per person plus a $5 charge for the extra security involved in checking bags therefore a total of $20.00
• The following is required of vacationers aboard SeaDancer and other TMM boats:
• Security Deposit - $40/day for security insurance plus a refundable $400 security deposit
• The following are options available to vacationers aboard SeaDancer and other TMM boats, and their costs:
• Provisioning and Beverage Purchase - Covered in detail on the provisioning page.
• Cell Phone - flat rate of $10.00/day. If you wish to utilize the cell phone you will need to purchase a $20.00 phone card from tmm upon your arrival. calls are approximately $1.00 per minute to the USA. Phone cards are also available throughout the islands if you require additional minutes while out on your charter. some personal cell phones may function in the bvi. we recommend you check with your cell provider to determine areas of service.
• Skippers - $135/day plus food and gratuity
• Instructional and ASA skipper - $165/day plus food and gratuity (Go here for details: TMM ASA Sailing School)
• Cook - $125/day plus food and gratuity
• Prior Night Sleepaboard - 50% of daily rate (5pm boarding)
• Windsurfers - Contact TMM for prices and details once your reservation is made
• Scuba equipment - Contact TMM for prices and details once your reservation is made
• Kayaks - Contact TMM for prices and details once your reservation is made
• Fuel - Prices vary by usage and boat
